Washington Governors Race Down to the Wire...Still
www.otterblog.com

The state of Washington is still not sure who will be its executive in the coming year. Though vote totals were supposed to be finalized today 16 counties are still counting.

The race between Attorney General for the state, Democrat Christine Gregorie, and Republican real estate agent Dino Rossi has remained tight during the process, at one point showing Gregorie ahead by only 19 votes. Our tallies show us that there are still 5,266 votes left to count, with Rossi ahead of Gregorie by less than 200 votes.

The totals so far:

Christine Gregorie (D) - 1,368,170 (48.86%)

Dino Rossi (R) - 1,368,358 (48.87%)

Bam Bam Rubble (I) - 63,151 (BAMBAM! BAM! BAM!)

A recount is mandated by state law if the totals are within one half of one percent. Our money is on a recount.
