War Criminal McCaffrey Defends Fallujah Marine
In a story about war crimes, MS-NBC chose to interview General Barry McCaffrey, who as a war criminal himself, is something of an expert on the subject. McCaffrey won notoriety for ordering the "Highway of Death" massacre in 1991.

MS-NBC's updated report reveals that other Marines in Falluja killed unarmed prisoners. The network frames the story in a way that makes this behavior seem less monstrous, but it is clear from the video that the Marines were not threatened by the dazed, immobile Iraqis.

1. Hasn't McCaffrey been pretty critical of Bush's war?
That's been my impression, at times. Not overtly, but sometimes by implication.
