The FCC doesn't want nude art on tv either!
Did anyone read this CNN story???

CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) -- A television news anchor appeared on the air nude in a first-person report about an artist's photographs, drawing a record number of viewers for the time slot, the station said.

Sharon Reed was one of hundreds of people who participated in Spencer Tunick's nude photo installation in Cleveland in June. Her report, shown Monday on the 11 p.m. newscast on WOIO-TV, showed far away angles of her nude and some closer seminude shots, as well as other participants.

The report comes in the midst of increased attention to the airwaves, following Janet Jackson's breast-baring performance during the Super Bowl halftime show. The Federal Communications Commission proposed a record fine of $550,000 against CBS, WOIO's parent network. The network is protesting.

These fundies are getting waaaaaaaaay out of hand! :grr: :grr: :grr:

1. They certainly are
I saw something refreshing this past weekend at an arts festival. One artist had a tent displaying perfect female nudes (in a style that fell between Vermeer and Michael Parkes), and a few of the paintings and drawing had fantasy elements to them. I woman brought her nine year old son into the tent "Here's the paintings I wanted you to see. Look at the mermaids, and the Chinese dancer, aren't they beautiful? Isn't he a wonderful artist"? The boy was wide eyed, but obviously blown away by the artist's skill "Whoa! He sure is"! he exclaimed.

Give BushCo another year or two, and that artist will not only be absent from the festival, but the mother will be accused of child abuse for letting her kid see those beautiful paintings!

:grr:
