"The Iraqi people are cranky, ungrateful, and unloveable...."
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 03:02 AM by blitzen
So says Steven Vincent, some loony Christian crusader who claims to be an expert on Islam in Iraq. Just heard him say it on TV--"Janet Parshall's America" (don't ask me why i was watching that hatefest!) This know-nothing opportunist poseur (Vincent) is touting his book on "a journey into the soul of Iraq." Look into your f-ing own souls, all ye Freepers!

2. "Ungrateful"? Talk about arrogance.
Anyway, isn't that what they said about the Vietnamese, too?

5. Those ungrateful Iraqi bastards
We're killing their women and children, stealing their oil, blowing up their country, and what gratitude do we get? The shame of those people for not embracing Bushit's compassionate conservatism is astounding. I blame it all on John Kerry and Bill Clinton's penis.

6. Only a cranky, ungrateful, unloveable person will say that.
And righteous and arrogant to boot.

7. If Iraqis are cranky, ungrateful, and unlovable
why doesn't the coalition LEAVE? Get out of other people's countries! Stop destroying other people's countries! Stop meddling in other countries' affairs!

15. Don't 'ya know that Halliburton is starving for more money and more blood
and destruction. It would kill em to bring the troops home. And the Carlyle Group needs money for their families.

8. If The Bushies Had Accepted That, Then Maybe They
If the Runnin' Dubya Posse had accepted that thin slice of wisdom (albeit that it's probably layered on top of a very thick layer of pig doo), then just maybe they wouldn't have fallen for the neo-Cons' fantasies and Chalabi's tale-telling and invaded Iraq.

I doubt that the Iraqis had very much reason to like us before the invasion. Now they've got considerable reasons to hate us.

11. of course they are..why in the world wouldn't they be happy to be the
object of a foreign invasion bent on christianizing and democratizing their nation, whether they want it or not...how dare they be so ungrateful as to not want their country destroyed along w/their culture and religion?...I mean if foreign invasion and take over is inevitable then they should just lay back and enjoy it....

(heavy sarcasm in case anyone missed it)

13. It just never occurs to these CINOs
that maybe what they are doing to other people isn't actually HELPING!!!

From forcing women to have children they shouldn't be having to trying to "fix" gay people to keeping the terminally ill alive in pain rather then just letting them go to now the Iraqis... These hyppocrates make "Love" and 'Compassion" into a threat.

They never consider the logic of thier stance that saving innocent lives requires killing innocent lives.

16. What a maroon! Yeah, Steve, you get pretty cranky
when someone is lobbing anything that explodes at you on a daily basis. You can get pretty cranky when they have destroyed the place you worked, made it difficult for you to feed and house your family, and educate your children. Cranky makes you less able to feel gratitude.

As for unlovable, Stevie, is that a little projection you have goin' on there?

Big duh, Steve.
