Dear DUers,
I believe any quest for the truth is always a noble one*
WHile I applaud and more than appreciate the efforts being made by so many with reguard to the recount(S), I think it wise to keep in mind that we still have all of the existing broken components (including some broken people*) still in positions that could well effect the recount in a less than favorable way.
I only hope that people may see this situation with reasonable scrutiny so that their hearts may not become too invested towards a specific outcome. While I am always hopeful,I am concerned that we may become to married to an outcome of an election that has already proven to be grossly manipulated and rigged.
Its safe or atleast reasonable to conclude, that it may very well remain unresolved at this time. In saying that, I do believe the recount is a very valuable, positive and worthwhile initiative that can only help to further shine light on the voter fraud issue, and the inaccuracies that underly the recounts. We know the patterns, we know the associates and companies who are willing to cheat, lie and steal.
I think most of us see the bigger picture is about overhauling the election system itself, and that is going to take some commitment, patience and dogged, timely paced determination. I hope you will remember and remind friends and family that these past three elections and the fraud and irregularities that have been revealed and are being exposed are the catalysts for DEMANDING fair voting standards and not accepting anything less.
In order to build the necessary momentum to force our leaders to implement the vital changes it is most important to continuously expose the fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest and the crimes committed against Americans, against the the Voting Rights Act and against the Constitution. The bigger picture is also about taking our election system back from a two party system that is merging ever closer to becoming a one party system, and the "two parties" have become too closely involved in their own electoral positioning and election victories.
A recount is important. However, in the scheme of things, I think there are much more important issues and perhaps ways to be channeling our money and focus. The issue of fraud seems to really be the core of the matter that is the acute threat to our elections and our trust in the process.
I think its a very real possibility that we will not receive a valid recount, and if you think about it that should not be much of a shock. We havent fixed the system. In fact, we haven't even tinkered with it. Perhaps that will be the lesson in and of itself, that we must have such transparent, organized, and well run elections, that a recount never need occur.
