The eight years that Bill Clinton
was my President was by far the best years of my 56 years. Prosperity, lots and lots of good times, very little worries. A great President was he. I sure would like to have him back, could you imagine what things would be like now. Instead now its so sad.

2. Job offers up the wazoo.
I remember those days, when recruiters & headhunters would call every other day it seemed.

They're opening the Clinton Library in Little Rock (only an hour away). Time to get your fix, to look back w/ fondness on MUCH better times.

4. Me too! Me too! I incorporated myself and my phone
rang off the hook. I never thought it would end - I planned to work into my eighties. I haven't had an IT job since 2001.

6. Hell Yes!
The 90's were a golden age for me, Having Clinton in my 20's while living in S.F. it was like being a child of Atlantis.

Now this Shitty decade is a boom for Prozac & Zoloft. The anti-depressant makers are enjoying good business on account of our suffering. Not since the height of the cold war has America's future been so uncertain. We have rescinded to dark times of McCarthyism, fanatical fascist dogma, and a general fear and mistrust among everyone.

get me in a time machine back 10 years please!

Seemed like most of the world did but the republiturds spent 8 years trying to trash him.The nafta and gatt decisions were very bad ,the Democrats didn't see how it could be missused with greed,The super store sprang up destroying towns in it's path to flood the country with cheap goods made in China.Sure we got ten dollar sneakers, but jobs were lost in the buying frenzy. The computer became a false savior that would improve everyones lives, save gas and time, but the manufatureing base snuck out the back door while hundreds made billions. There is no middle class now,it's pimps or homeless,c.e.o.s or burger flippers. We have millions of bosses and nothing is being made in this country,NOTHING because it hides under American names while slaves make it all.People sit in cubicles banging away on computers, hoping to get the big office and the german car and 10 thousand square foot gated mini mansions to hide from the fact that outside thier gates it's a third world country brought home.WE need to rethink not try to go back like the neocons want to.Finding comfort in Jesus or Paris Hilton is a short range plan, becoming an empire is not learning from history.Being dumbed down is fun but it got us into huge trouble. Are we here on this planet to be entertained or educated ?We seem to be entertaining our selves into a deep hole .We liberals have to stop being the court jesters for the royalty,we are getting laughs but kids won't have much to laugh about and kids deserve to laugh.
