|
In fact, he'll probably have one of Saddam's palaces brought over brick-by-brick, cement slab-by-cement slab, and dress it up the same way Saddam did, except with his own pictures.

is lame. It would be nice for posters to add just a little detail on what they are referencing when beginning a thread. That's all.

you give someone who kicked your ass.
I muted JR. I can't stand to listen to him even thought I'm sure he is going to play nice. What a load of BS.

14. I think Bush Sr. had a great speech. I'm not sure I really believe what |
|
he said, but if you do, he was very good.
Shrub is another story. It's seems obvious to me that he is reading someone elses words! His speech is broken, and very statement like. He doesn't really believe what he's reading. The writer put together some very nice words, but the deliverer is botching it.

Well, who knew. I'd have to see it to believe it...BTW, do his lips move when he reads and does he run his finger along the lines?

15. Have to admit - that was touching |
|
Shrub related when the Clinton's first met and Bill reached over to take Hillary's hand. Oh, jeez, I'll never forgive the shrub for making such a nice moment happen. Okay - it was the nicest moment of his presidency and he needed the Clinton's to make it happen. I feel better now.

24. I don't know about the bitch slap, but he was unconciously covering |
|
his mouth while listenein to shrub. I am a stron believer in unconcious physical signs. Leaning on the doorframe when talking to the boss indicates likability and friendship, leaning back in your chair when someone is speaking to you indicates disagreement, and covering your mouth while listening to a speech indicates your disagreement and knowledge that you have to keep your mouth shut!

22. Bono doing a great job |
|
Talking about how Clinton helped the peace process In ireland. "He didn't have to do it but he wanted to". ~Nice~ And a nice contrast to the "war president" standing there in the crowd.
Bono also mentioned how 22 of the poorest countries got their debt cancelled by Clinton's efforts.
Bono spoke well of Clinton while cutting down the shrub. Everything is political!

28. Personally...I think it is awful |
|
Millions into a presidential library and a "grand" opening including the Bush's makes me ill.
The timing is bad, the gratuitous back slapping is out of place and the "happy Clintons", happy Bushs" look ridiculous. The only appropriate person on the stage is Jimmy Carter.
Stupid people.....overblown egos. There are times I really hate politicians.
