The RNC spent way more $$$$$$ than Kerry and barely "won"

Shouldn't we be nauseous that alleged "fiscally conservative" Republicans blow bucks like drunken sailors and most of that money belonged to tax paying citizens?

Shouldn't we be nauseous about the cost of the upcoming "inauguration"?

Oh my! John Kerry didn't spend x millions of $$$$$ and still has money left! The horror!!!!

1. Kerry could not spend that money on himself

because he accepted public funds.

that's why he gave most of it to other groups. he did save some because the law allowed him to use the money for legal fees. but he could not use it for the campaigning.

I'm just curious. It amazes me how much money goes into the elections when it could be spent on much more important things.
