"The Ronald Regan Bio-Med Research Act"
This is what the Illinois State Legislature is considering right now to legalize stem cell research in Illinois.

Brilliant! What Republican could vote against THAT???

1. Illinois Democrats ARE THE ONLY model that the National Democrats....
should follow. Illinois Democrats know how to "play the game"!

3. refining the policies of the Republican hero
I love this idea. They always use our personal pasts against us... let's use their political past against them. We can even play nice-like the whole time. You know, rub their noses in it a bit.

4. They're always trying to steal JFK and MLK's legacy
So why not give them a taste of their own medicine.

6. Good for them
We should append Ronald Reagans name to a host of bills -- The Ronald Reagan Universal Health Care Act, The Ronald Reagan Strenthening Americas Families Civil Unions Act, etc.

7. We can use Abraham Lincoln's name, too.
He was from Illinois. He was one of theirs.

Why not use his name for a whole bunch of human rights legislation?

It could catch on nationally.
