3. That which is real, tangible, provable by empirical means.

4. I believe claiming to KNOW the nature of god and his/her/its intentions
is by far the highest form of arrogance. God, if there is one or many, is/are probably so far above our level of comprehension that it's laughable to assume you "know".

7. I believe in a higher power
...but as a loving & benevolent spirit, not this hellfire-and-brimstone drivel that the fundies spew forth.

10. No vote from me
The closest would be that I believe in that which I can touch, see, or otherwise categorize through empirical evidence. This does not discount the possibility of the existence of some higher power, but it does mean I can never know that power, or what he/she/it wants out of me. Thus, ethics, morals, etc. must be based on human, sociological delopments, not on the perceived wishes of some "God," as we can never know anything in the metaphysical sense (thank you, David Hume and, to a lesser extent, Immanuel Kant).

13. If there is, why should it care?
Pipsqueeks of the universe that we are, if there was some form of deity why would it give a rip what we think or believe?

I have no idea if there is a "higher power" or anything that could be tagged as such. But, a "daddy" or "mommy" god is one not worthy of the name.
