that induces Conservatism?

There has been many posts about how the Dictatorship wishes to medicate any American they can find.

Can there be a drug that actually brings people in with the Right-Wing?

Are there any drugs that cause things the Right-Wing likes in its followers: paranoia, fear, bigotry, xenophobia, etc.?

Are there drugs that make people submissive to what they hear and see in things such as the 'liberal' Media?

I don't want to come off sounding paranoid or anything, medicine just isn't my field of interest.

4. something in the water
A few years ago, there was something found in water that was very sedating. It was found in a number of city water systems, I think, "in the heartland" -- i.e., NE, IA, MO, KS... Damn. I can't remember details but I remember hearing about this. Some were arguing that it was a natural element and other said it was evidence of water quality going down. Can't remember more. Anyone remember this?

There are many classes of psychoactive drugs. They either inhibit or encourage the brains' receptors. Prozac works like this, as do several anti-psyhotic drugs. I don't know how they could narrow it down to just political thought....but once they figured it out...they could essentially control the world. Sort of like X-Men or other SciFi movies...

7. No Need for Drugs.
Some things such as fundamentalist xtianity is enough to induce the things mentioned.

9. An experience ...
in a fundamentalist religious service, especially if there were a lot of music, hell-fire-and-damnation preaching, speaking in tongues, etc., would be bound to produce enormous amounts of endorphins. Imagine what would happen if you were exposed to this 1 or more times a week. You'd be hooked!!!

13. i did some research on these people
in late spring/early summer of 2001 in houston, tx.

i regularly attended a full gospel pentacostal church as an observer. believe me, it is hard to simply observe. you have to participate somewhat otherwise they catch on to you. i went along with it somewhat the first few times (i kinda get off on playing along with christians), after that i went pretty much unmolested, although there is a strong push to socialize after the service.

i went to brunch with some of these people on a few occasions.

anyway, it was a tremendously "outrageous" performance, keyed up to to "11" to get people testifying, praising, collapsing, speaking in tongues what have you.

i saw on at least three occasions, people "drunk on the spirit."

much of what they do in these churches is meant to sweep people up in greatly amplified emotion to the extent that they self-induce a spiritual experience.

a testament the power of the human mind, a testament to gullibility, a testament to the shrewd showmanship of the pastors.

i recommend the experience to all who can stomach it, just do it more than once though.

11. Neuro Linguistic Programming
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 08:07 PM by superconnected
They use trigger words and implant them with good/bad images in peoples brain. That's where mis-naming things comes along like healthy forests on a plan that's designed to strip forests.

They strategically place pictures and words in ads - knowing that Right means future and left means past, therefore put Bush's picture on right and Kerry on left, or kerrys picture with a graveyard on top of it.

Mostly it's the trigger words though. Michael Moore ended up words that brought up HATE for them every time they heard it. I was surprised at how reps reacted to only his name. There are many more.

Watch the manchurian candidate. If you look into Neuro Linguist programming you will see it's a real science and psychiatrists use it a lot. The book - _The source book of Magic_ is an execellent training manual on the subject.

Btw, the thing that always strikes me about this is how incredibly stupid bush looks in his photos. A brainless idiot. Then look what comes out of his mouth, a fundamentalist agenda(a belief that usually requires passion). He's often monotone when he speaks, often like he's reading and lacks spontaneous emotions. JMO

desire to elevate yourself and those like you above in value to others. Yes, I have many relatives who are conservatives and I love them. However if we were in a life boat together, I'd never turn my back on them. It's hard to explain how you can love a relative and yet must keep them at arms distance because you can never really KNOW their soul. Weird huh?

The drug is an character trait - not induced but natural drive for increased power and control over the "little people."

Yah, the Nazis loved their Meth Amphetamine which brings out the worst in an already pre-disposed psychopathic personality. Fun fun :P

15. Strict Parenting, from Disciplinarian to Abusive, Induces Conservatism
George Lakoff has laid this out in detail. Political conservatism is an application of the strict father model to the nation as a family.

If there is a drug that makes people tend to conservatism, I would suggest alcohol, caffeine, and speed. Think of things that induce anger and up-tightness.

you can program a tv audience just by having them remember something they like - ie. the 50's and how good things were when women obeyed men and divorce was rare, and then associate it with phrase like - it was a time of moral values - and start programming the people with that, using it often enough and changing the images to other "good things",they remember.

You can do it with bad triggers also - in Michael Moores case, he "hates America", in their minds. They associated him our soldiers in iraq being killed by traitors of America - "like Moore". They do it enough, and these super suseptible people believe it. They've been programmed, and it's an emotional response for them. They can't NOT have a strong emotional response when they hear words like "Michael Moore".

If you look up neuro linguistic programming, it deals with your memorys(anchors), associating them with words(triggers), collapsing old anchors you had, and creating new ones, and all by going after your emotional responses -to your memories. It's super effective.
