on TV today ragging on France. He remarked that we saved their ass in WW1/WW2 and they owe us. He suggested that they were a weak nation jealous of US. And on and on.
But could it be that France by independently developing nuclear weapons sophisticated missile systems, excellent fighter planes and weapons systems as well as submarine launched missiles rubs the US the wrong way?
Seems Ed Koch might be more upset with the independent attitude of the French and their open defiance of US foreign policy.
Further I was under the impression that France contributed greatly to the coalition Gulf War one. No?
