Is America still the "Land of the Free?"
Is America still the "Land of the Free?"

Statistically, in a word, NO.

We may retain certain day-to-day freedoms in terms of freedom of movement, but by and large, we have been eclipsed in the freedom department by many other countries.

In terms of personal liberties, in the Western Hemisphere, America is substantially LESS free than Canada, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, and all of the independent Caribbean nations.

Europe as a whole offers more personal freedom than the United States.

On the other side of the world, there are the Southern Pacific nations. Non-communist, non-Muslim Asian nations. Australia. New Guinea. New Zealand. Japan.

All of them are more free than America.

Research their laws and compare them to ours. Don't forget the Patriot Act.

You will see quickly that America is no longer the "Land of the Free."

We have become the United States Soviet Republic. We are all back in the U.S.S.R.

I wihs this wsn't the case. But it is. And the sooner we recognize this, the sooner we can win our country back.

2. Americans were never as free as many other nations . This was
a myth, but because economically a person could live a decent life no one complained that much. However, now that they are taking away American affluence, and increasing the number of poor people that have fallen from the middle class, I think people are going to start thinking about this and maybe wake up and do something about it.

4. Put a man in the middle of a desert
with enough food and water to last a lifetime. Is he free?
