Who's good at writing letters? I just had a thought. What if a DUer

composed a letter summing up BBV with some highlights of uncovered shenanigans. It would be directed to Presidents of different organizations. Such as...ACLU, NARAL, Sierra Club, Interfaith Alliance, Southern Poverty Law Center, Labor Unions (my husband is a member of Masters, Mates and Pilots, a merchant marine union-I'll adopt that one) and any other organizations we can think of.

The idea is that once the letter is composed, a DUer adopts an organization to deliver the letter to. We get the send an e-mail and a faxed copy, for a paper trail :-) If no fax is available we'll just print the letter and send it snail mail.

Kind of making this up as I go along, what do you guys think? we could sign as a group but ask for some sort of reply to the member who adopted the organization.

Do you know what I mean? Am i making any sense? Now you see why I need someone else to compose the letter.

All I know is I get a Shite load of mail from people who are looking for money and most are very good organizations worthy of support. They reach millions of Americans and I just think they would be a great vehicle for our message......or are we going to be doing this in 2006 too?!??!
