Electronic Band, Skinny Puppy, Being Monitored By Secret Service
A few months back a band called Skinny Puppy, which I'm a fan of, did their Summer tour. During that tour on several occasions Nivek Ogre, the vocalist from the band, pointed a gun at a videoscreen with videos of Bush. Here's a picture of the incident I got from skinny-puppy.net when they were in Paris.

On their current tour they've had mock beheadings where the terrorists have their masks pulled off and it turns out they're Bush and Dick Cheney. Picture from that show below.

Because of their onstage antics they were left this card from someone working with National Security.

BTW, from what I'm hearing they heard about this from a group called PABAAH which is currently doing a boycott of college radio stations that play Skinny Puppy. http://www.pabaah.com (Warning: They may redirect links that come from DU) Look down the page and you'll find the article.

It appears that free speech is alive and well in the good ol' US of A :-(

2. The guy who does the PABAAH website
is a FReeper (denizen of Free Republic). They'll do or say anything to have their way -- I wonder how many times they've shrieked about sites like DU to Homeland Security and the FBI. Probably so many that HS no longer answers the phone if one of them calls, and all their e-mail is sent to the spam folder.

The guy has been on The Daily Show before -- they made a total ass of him on there. I'm not sure he could possibly have reocognized what an idiot they made him look like, as a matter of fact.

9. What I don't understand is.....
Edited on Fri Nov-19-04 01:15 AM by verdalaven
why they want a monarchy? There is a petition on PABAAH's site to repeal the 22nd amendment so that that dumbass could run again in 2008. That amendment is in place to protect both the Reality Based Community, as well as the RW whackos.

Plus, don't they realize that if they do get the 22nd amendment repealed that we'll lift President Clinton on our shoulders and whip the shit out of * in 2008? :)

10. They Reformed This Year
New album came out this year called The Greater Wrong of the Right. Here are some sites that have some samples:

http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?userid=gF406qQAb3&EAN=693723637228&ITM=2

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00020QZMU/qid=1100844989/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/104-0761189-6459161

There are some mixed reactions from fans. Some wanted them to repeat older albums such as TDP and LR. They wanted to go into a different direction using more modern equipment and a different vocal style. If you've kept up with some of the sideprojects it won't be as much of a leap. However, a lot of people stopped at LR or The Process.
