Largest Election Protest - NOON Today Lafayette Park - D.C.
This message was sent to me by David Lytel of RedefeatBush.com:

Libertarian Party candidate for president Michael Badnarik and Green Party candidate for Vice President Pat LaMarche will be our featured speakers at noon TODAY November 19th at LaFayette Park in front of the White House. We will protest the misadministration of the vote for the presidency and call upon state and local authorities to investigate, since neither the Congress nor the Justice Department will investigate Republicans. We don't yet know what Bednarik, Lemarche or the other speakers will say, but here is what I will say. My introduction: When Bush Comes to Shove http://www.redefeatbush.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=219 And my conclusion is Righting the Left: Rebuilding the Opposition Industry http://www.rightingtheleft.com See our Ten Questions on the Legitimacy of the 2004 Election http://www.redefeatbush.com/downloads/tenquestions.pdf To find or list your own local protests: http://www.unitedforpeace.org For the latest updates on this and to sign a petition to law enforcement authorities to investigate the crimes against American democracy please visit: http://www.beamerica.org -- David Lytel for ReDefeatBush If it rains we have umbrellas!

2. The local affiliates will cover it
and if there's anything they deem "newsworthy" they'll send it to the networks. I'll check my local stations tonight to see how much coverage they give it. I would attend the demo, but sciatica pain woke me up at 4:30 am and makes it impossible to do all that walking and standing.

5. I meant the local stations in DC
will cover it for our viewing area. WRC, the NBC affiliate; WJLA, the ABC affiliate; and WUSA, the CBS affiliate. They usually cover these things for the local news broadcasts. The story won't get picked up by the networks unless something happens -- arrests, etc.
