CNN comment from last night
they were discussing the Clinton library on Lou Dobbs show, and he commented "The more the Republicans win, the stronger President Clinton seems to get, while the Democrats keep loosing seats in the house and senate", or something pretty close to that. He was discussing Clinton's unbelievably strong popularity.

I found that comment very thought provoking.

1. People Still Remember...
What it's like to have a REAL uniter in the white house. Just TRY to imagine Bush nominating a female Attorney General, or a Democratic Secretary of Defense.

3. It was the Female Attorney General that started the Star Witch Hunt.. didn't
she start the ACTUAL Witch Hunt on those poor people in Florida that had a Day Care business.. isn't there one guy still in jail for being a Satanist who had evidence he was Innocent but no one wanted to let a Satanist go because they wanted to run for public office. and they didn't want to appear soft on Satanism....????

5. This is not a good thing
electorally, though. A majority of the electorate views the ovation as passing the "global test."

Ironically, the U.S. is pursuing an aggressive form of nationalism on the surface, while in the real economy just below that surface, whole industries continue to be shipped to the lowest wage locales as globalism marches on.

I'll tell you, though. The UN is never going to be a political winner with the red state people. The UN is associated with godlessness and communism and just about any other ill one can mention. Plus, it never approves of anything Israel does and the U.S. has to continually step in to veto the sanctions the other members want to impose on it.

Nope, the UN is never going to fly in this country, even if the U.S. is just another Third World country, as it mostly likely will be someday sooner than most people think.

6. I don't really think there is much to that.
Clinton's popularity is exactly what youd expect for a two term ex president with his charisma and record. It is completely unrelated to the Democrats obvious downward trend.

Perhaps a point could be made in that people dont associate Clinton with the current party, since he seems to at least be somewhat immune to thier failing reputation, but I think that is just a product of the media. The media doesnt cover much on the left, but Bill Clinton, as an ex-president is something they do cover. So from a standpoint of someone in the media bubble, of course it would look like that, because more and more other democrats are being completely ignored by the media. Clinton's popularity isnt going up, the democrats are just being marginalized.

8. watching clinton with peter jennings last night, i couldn't help but
notice the profound differences between him and bush.

granted, i only saw the last 3-4 minutes, but there's such a contrast in personality, intelligence, demeanor, class, intelligence, interest, intelligence, sincerity, and intelligence that i think people on the other side of the aisle have begun to miss a leader with intelligence.

they probably realize what a hollow figure bush is compared with clinton and voted for him only because their hate radio gods told them to.
