There is no fight left in the Democratic Party ever since the DLC
took it over and has remolded it into a liter version of the GOP.They no longer want to represent the middle and lower middle income people because that is not where the money is.They support all of the GOP's tax cuts without a whsiper of protest.Thay have come to accept the phony rationales of the supply side tax cuts. They support wars without even a discussion.Only a courageous Robert Byrd is able to muster the guts necessary to stand up against the Bush Administration.

My question is: why do we need this party if it would not represent the people?

I think I'd rather do some actual work today than join in that.

I need some coffee first.

2. Instead of cutting away all of us...
... we ought to focus on cutting away the DLC.

I thought we just had a Pres and Vice-Pres ticket (which only lost by 2% of the popular vote, if you believe the "electronic tallys") who ran on:

Repealing tax cuts for top 2%
Called out the admin for its corruption re Halliburton etc
Working towards affordable health care for everybody
Tax breaks to strengthen the middle class
Vowed never to go to war for oil and to only go to war as a last resort
Punish corps that outsource jobs with stricter tax penalties
Actually protect our environment

And so on. . .

ON EDIT: another dumb grammar mistake/typo like always.
