1. What a choice!
I'll have to say Bobby.

The world would have been a better place if he would have been president.

3. I wasn't alive
for the first two, and have always felt bad for Teddy for being the surviving one that could never really live up to the legacy of the other two.

I know that JFK was very beloved, he was like the original "Big Dog", but from what I have read, Robert seemed like he would have been a perfect President. Oh how the course of history could have changed!

4. Kennedy The Cop
In the Laurel & Hardy and Little rascals movies.

I have to throw a vote toward Ted - he helped me get out of the Navy. I'd have voted for the Devil if he'd have gotten me away from that. I didn't have to, though, because he had just been reelected ('68)

5. without a doubt Teddy is the best legislator
from all accounts he has mastered the senate while JFK and RFK used the senate primarily as a path to the presidency--especially JFK. I think RFK would have been the best president. JFK was inspirational but in my opinion the most insubstantial of the brothers. But there are those who believe he was coming into his own when he was assassinated.

7. Teddy has had to endure a lot...
Teddy has become an icon for the right wing to hate. The insults and jokes would have probably driven a lesser man to say "the hell with it." Sure he isn't perfect--and may have brought some of it on himself--but how many of us live under that kind of microscope. I remember how proud I was to vote for him in the primary in 1980--not so much against Carter--but for the progressivism and idealism.
I know that John and Robert are the stuff of legend now--but out of respect for endurance and perseverence in a long life--I'll cast my vote here for Teddy.

8. All the way with RFK
It still astonishes me to consider how he just kept growing, you know? There was a remarkable burst in the development of the man after his brother's murder.

Truly, it's painful to think of him, and what America might have become if he'd been permitted the presidency. Honestly, it brings me often to the brink of tears....
