LaFayette Park Protest Update
We might have had 25-30 people there. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE CARE THEY STOLE OUR VOTE!

http://www.beamerica.org/

David Lytel, of ReDefeat Bush was a good speaker but Green Party candidate for VP, Pat LaMarche was really inspiring! Libertarian candidate for President, Michael Badnarik also spoke, he quoted the Constitution. They both promised that they would assure that the votes would be counted!

I'm glad I went although the turnout was miserable.

1. i dont think the word was spread timely or effectively
I didn't hear about it until this morning. most people would need a little more notice than that to attend.

2. That's very true
I would have thought with the high-profile guests they had, they would have given more notice. Actually I did know about it a few days ago, but I wasn't on the ball about posting it here, I guess.

4. I foolishly think that people do care.
But I too, only heard of it two hours prior to the event. I forwarded it to 5 people I could think of off the top of my head in D.C. but who can really rearrange their day that quickly.

People care. We need better organization.
