i hope that steve jobbs becomes the new ceo of disney
Edited on Fri Nov-19-04 05:18 PM by Melodybe
there are grapevine rumors that jobbs is being considered for the position.

considering that jobbs is a great democrat and balls to the wall genius, it would be a good thing for us. plus, pixar has consistantly been the best movie studio of the last few years.

so if there any duers in the cult of mac, i thought you should know, if you didn't already.

apparently les moonves is also being considered and although i like moonves, and letterman seems to love him, i think that jobbs would be an ideal choice.

ps sorry about the lower case, our keyboard decided that it didn't want the shift keys to work anymore and we have to wait to get a new one.

7. Too bad Jobs is a slave driving, arrogant asshole
Even if he is "a good Democrat" that doesn't make up for his other flaws. Sorry, I really don't like the guy. Although, now that I think about it, he might be a perfect fit at Disney. :)

8. that is not what the folks at pixar say
they say that he is the best boss they have ever had, and that pixar is the most relaxed and cool atmosphere they have ever worked in.

in the beginning years of apple, jobbs was known to be a slave driver, but he also a pretty bad drug problem at the time. apparently he has chilled with age.

so sorry you don't like jobbs, but i still think he is an excellent choice.

10. I hope you're right.
It's the way he treated his daughter and Apple employees that formed my opinion of him. That doesn't just go away just because he's mellow now.
