Wolfe Blitzer is essentially defending the media's role in reporting every itsy itsy leak and detail of Bill Clinitons problems in office.
I missed the beginning but he was referring to the interview with Peter Jennings where Bill Clinton raked Jennings and the ABC over the coals!!

1. For me, Bill's statements were confirmation of the media's role

and the depth and bredth of the coup. If anyone doubted it before, the media IS a co-conspirator in the current neocon takeover of this country and I think should be held accountable when/if this all ever gets turned around. Right now, there isn't an apparatus to contain them.

3. I watched just the beginning of

Crossfire, and when Begala was saying that while the media, including CNN, was showing the grand jury tapes, Clinton was at the UN giving a speech on the dangers of terrorism, etc. Tucker Bowtie just kept talking loudly over Begala and implying that Clinton was a loon. I'm just so, so, so sick of all these lies.

I just emailed stupid Wolf Blizter. I told him that Bill Clinton understands the media just fine; it is he who doesn't understand his roles and responsibilities as a 'journalist.'

I told him that President Clinton was not asserting that the media should not have covered these so-called scandals. He was making a point about the WAY the media covered them, and their laziness in not getting many of the facts that would have debunked these stupid allegations.
