WASHINGTON (AP) - The Bush administration is building a case against Iran with disclosures of a covert nuclear weapons program that carry echoes of the run-up to the war with Iraq.

1. This war will be different, though
Iraq was genocide.

Iran will be SUICIDE.

These are old figures, but:

Note that the Iranian army hasn't been getting ambushed for 2 years.

2. Ugh!
<hits head against the wall>

I know. I've been seeing the cable news start up their case about Iran already. I'm noticing it more and more.

3. Yes, this is an old game.
It's called War Profiteering and the Bush family and its' allies are masters at it. This isn't anything new. But since education is so poor here, we don't learn from the past. It's like, if a guy robs a bank and the bank says "Oh well, he's got enough money to last him a life time, let's move on" and then twenty years later the same guy robs the same bank.

We never learn. By the way, has anyone noticed that, most of the real progressive, civil rights, peace leaders are all dead? Killed by either extreme right wingers or fundie maniacs? Or maybe that's just me.

Loftus calls for Blockade of Iran (Iran has N. Korean nukes, missiles)
Fox News | 11/19/04

John Loftus, former Justice Dept. prosecutor just interviewed on Fox. Loftus reports that what set Powell off yesterday were 1,000 pages of Iranian documents and photos from CIA showing Iran has recieved N. Koran nuclear weapon and is fitting it to a missile based upon other technology from N. Korea. Loftus urges US Navy blockade of Iran to make them stop their nuclear program, which he reports is located under an upper-class Iranian suburb to prevent any strikes from the US or Israel.

Oy.

This would be a perfect opportunity to test out MOAB.

I have no problem blowing up their upper class suburb if it becomes the only way to protect us. I'd rather see it done a different way, but if it comes down to that, then we will have to do it. Get on your camel and ride.

Take out the Islamic lunatics in Iran and the people of Iran will rejoice. Liberals, of course, will be deeply hurt and upset.

As one "expert" on Fox said last week. Israel does not have the ability to hit Iran with its IDF Air Force. They do not have the logistics. The only way they "possibly" could is to fly over Iraqi airspace (which we own) but would NEVER allow Israel to penetrate that space.
