Senior Thesis Paper: My daughter needs your stories DUers

Dear DU,
My kidlet asked me to ask for your help.
She is currently working on her senior thesis
which is centered on how the internet has
melded cyber-lives with day to day existence.
In other words, how has your internet activity
impacted your life.
She is specifically looking to interview people
who have, through internet activity, met others,
perhaps formed relationships that would not have
been possible without the internet.
She knows I have several friends that I met
due to my activity here on DU, and therefore
is guessing there may be others like me here.

...and letting you know that Sapphocrat and I did meet online (hell we would never have met if it wasn't for the Internet when you consider our circumstances.) As you know we are in a binational relationship, and the Internet is our main way of communicating to one another on a daily basis.
