Poll question: Will NYC get nuked for turning down the Bush twins?
Edited on Sat Nov-20-04 01:41 AM by DireStrike
You know, if it's gotta happen somewhere... and it'll help... I'd take a few neutrons for my country. Just wish I had time to get married or have kids or something. Oh well.

3. No, and I will tell you why
Sorry to all of those who live on the West Coast, but my instincts tell me it's next. Now, I lived and worked in San Francisco, and I know that was always a big fear for me. Then I came across a post referencing SF, and I checked it out. W's brother said something to the effect of SF being an endangered species, and that it was probably for the best. Call me crazy, but I think it won't happen in NY again. So...horrific as it is...yes, I do believe there will be another attack, but it will not be where most would suspect. And I do hope I am wrong.

5. Haha, nice name...
I picked up on the red-state thing too, but... I'm not too sure of that translation quirk. I've been unable to find any mention of it that doesn't lead inevitably back to MEMRI, which is lead by an Israeli ex-intel agent. This hasn't stopped them from giving accurate translations in the past, according to one journalist(google "Selective Memri").

9. thanks for "getting" the name

It isn't so much the translation as, if you really want to strike fear in the hearts hit 'em in the heartland-type thought.

I have relatives in OKC and right after it happened everyone thought terrorists and freaked. After they found out it was a white guy the terror level disappeared.

Hitting the financial center didn't seem to make the American people understand. What if you take away their food and hit them in the center at the same time? That would wake them up.

BTW, I live in Kansas. I'm not leaving. I'll go down fighting and have lots of friends in the expanded Gitmo.

6. They can't nuke NYC
Too much money flows through there. If NYC is taken out, most of the Bush cabal's money will cease to exist -- and that includes the money of the Saudi royal family.

But if someday you catch wind of a massive capital flight away from the NYC financial institution, get out of Gotham post haste!

11. Hmmm. You mean like wheat,
beef, soybeans, corn and stuff like that? Yeah, getting rid of that stuff won't hurt. There's plenty of fruit and fish on the coasts to survive, especially if you like pesticides and mercury.

12. I'm sure there will be something nasty
but probably not a nuke. Just having the fascist Bush regime in office is punishment enough.
