$388 billion spending bill, you're not going to believe what I just saw |
|
on CSPAN. There was a provision put in it where Federal Agents can release anyones tax returns. Kent Conrad(D- ND) was trying to say they have to take that out. The republican that was talking said, just sign it anyways because we promise it won't really be a law. The president has said they will disregard that part of the bill.
OMG! Now they are trying to pass patriot act-ish legislation by sticking it in unrelated bills and saying, "oh, well we won't really do that. Just forget it's in there" Unbelievable.
I posted this in latest breaking news and then realized it should be here.

"The republican that was talking said, just sign it anyways because we promise it won't really be a law. The president has said they will disregard that part of the bill."
Have the republican legislator sponsor an amendment to tack on the bill indicating his and the presidents's promises.
Rule of law?????
