A lesson in physics applied to historic events.

Newton's Third Law states that to each action there is an equal and opposite reaction.Descartes states that cause and effect are related.Applied to our current state, the Bush cabal's headlong plunge into war as a means of dispute resolution is generating a reaction from what would normally be our allies. We are likely to see more and more alliances to stop us from exerting our hegemony.

If, as is likely, our bluff is called by countries holding a stronger hand, such as China, we are likely to resort to military threats. Our trigger happy administration, contemptuous of other countries, can very easily take us on the road to no return. This is how the Hitlerian fantasies started. As their appetites got whetted by easy conquests over weaker nations in Europe, the Germans decided to take on Russia. We know what the consequences of that war were.

Bush, with his ignorance and contempt for the rest of the world, is the perfect vehicle for this march of madness. His two Sancho Panzas, Rumsfeld and Cheney, certainly add an element of dementedness to this administration's misadventures.
