I need DUer input please! New to DE looking for insight on Biden |
|
I was a lifelong Ohioan who moved here to Delaware 4 years ago.
It's hard to find quality anaysis of him from Google, so who better to ask than my fellow DUers for an overview of Delaware's man Joe Biden? I saw him when he introduced Kerry at a rally in New Castle, DE early in the campaign. He was pretty good but I couldn't get a solid read on the guy then. Whenever I ask people around here, I never get what I feel is a solid description of him either. Any feedback I could get from you all, Delawarians or not, would be most helpful.
Thanks!
Pete

Everytime I've heard him speak I've been impressed with this stance and grasp of issues. He gets straight to the point. I thought he would have made a good presidential candidate. I can't speak for him, however, as a DE resident.

He has kind of a mixed reputation. I personally like Biden, I feel like he has a strong grip on foriegn policy. He has gone after bush about the handling of war several times and is very angry about it.

I followed Joe Biden for a long time. I think he's very good, and a real "firebrand" when he's trying to get something across. Years ago he led the fight to keep Bork off the Supreme Court.
I've always been impressed with his work on the Judiciary Committee, and at one time I thought he'd make a good president. At this point, I'm glad he's in the Senate representing the Democrats.
He's smart and a good speaker--we need more like him.
