Anyone else believe "Operation Northwoods" version 2005 is coming?
Iraq is a quagmire and unwinnable as it stands with the present troop strength.

Iran, the next "axis-of-evil" country on the hit list, duped the neo-cons into ousting their longtime nemesis Saddam Hussein with their double-agent Ahmed Chalabi putting into the hands of the "mad mullahs" US military strengths and weaknesses endangering US national security.

The neo-fascists know they need more troops to "win" but Bush's "no-draft" pledge during the campaign creates an obstacle to be overcome.

Question: But how to implement such a plan without widespread resistance from the suckers who provide the cannon fodder?

Answer: Purge the CIA of anybody not on the same page, freethinkers, liberals, anyone who might blow the whistle on a possible scenario to attack Americans on the homeland and blame it on the "mad mullahs"

Am I paranoid? Maybe. But this crowd shouldn't make anyone comfortable.

2. It might be already here
Doesn't it seem like it may have started 3rd quarter 2001?

3. To me, the most bizarre
manifestation of the CIA purge is the feeling that I will no longer be able to trust the CIA.

5. Ah yes, the good old days
The good old days, when the CIA was merely ambiguous.

HA HA!

Wait until it is monolithic, under an authoritarian president and a fascist "congress".

Justin Raimondo is worth reading on this topic

8. The really strange thing
is that if there should be another terrorist attack, much to the surprize of the "new" CIA, we can conclude that they did not see it coming because they were told not to see it coming.

That put the onus square on the Bush Admin.

That's why I always like to have people around me who tell me I'm wrong when I am.

4. Not difficult at all!

Iraq is not going down like the "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" the dittoheads used to love to ridicule -- turns out Iraqis are hellava fighters, like we educated elite tried to warn them. Funny how they hate people who are "easily" defeated, as well as people who fight like hell? Another day in the Age of Irony....

Best case scenario: as Iraq continues to explode into greater violence, even after being liberated, and the deaths of Uday and Qusay (remember them?) and the humiliation and capture of Saddam Hussein and the destruction of the Baathist Party, the capture of the Deck of Cards -- all of which we were assured by the Grown Ups would bring an end to violence there -- a "cause" will have to be found. How convenient! We are already being told that it is foreign resistance, and not Iraqis -- look for His Chimperial Highness to have "darned good intelligence" that *all* this trouble is coming over the borders from Iran and Syria! The plot to destroy America and its ally, I mean, allies, thickens....

Worser case scenario: Osama succeeds in striking the US again, as he has promised, with a primitive nuclear device. Prediction: the "nuclear materials" will be said to have been purchased from Iran, or North Korea, necessitating an emergency "affirmative access to military service. There will be no one left in the CIA to show that the nuclear materials ACTUALLY were purchased a long time ago from Russia, during George the First's reign, when he failed to secure them, in the biggest strategist fuckup in the latter 20th century (mind you, against some very tough competition!!!).

As an experienced Chimpinologist ( we used to be called Kreminologists) I have tried to bring to public attention the fact that His Chimperial Highness has ALWAYS said "Present troop strength, in my opinion, are adequate. However, if I am asked by the military leaders to provide more, I will." Need a translation, Mr Ambassador?

7. or via Pakistan
...which will be conveniently ignored for now, both because of the instablity of that country and because Bush 1, via the whole BCCI mess, as was reported by the two Time Magazine reporters who wrote a book about this...sold nuclear components to Pakistan.

The Saudi head of Intel who was serving at the time just laughed because he knew Bush Sr. wouldn't pursue the issue because he was tainted by it.

9. IT’S WORSE THAN YOU THINK
The election debacle is now over. Despite the massive evidence of voter fraud by Republican controlled auditless voting machines (www.blackboxvoting.org), George W Bush was handed victory by fellow Skull and Boneser John Kerry before any of the facts could sink in to the voting public. Indeed Kerry pre-empted any controversy with his concession. I guess he had to allow it to be stolen because his attempts at losing the election legitimately came up short. His cock-eyed “kinda” for and “kinda” against the Iraq War was bad enough, but when he allowed himself to be photo-opped wind surfing and, inexplicably, goose hunting, I knew he was trying to throw it. My worst fears, however, were fully realized with the premature concession. Only he, as the Democratic candidate, could have led the fight to have this fraudulent election fully investigated. Poor Keith Olbermann (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6210240/) over at MSNBC is the only major media figure to be pursuing this with any vigor at all. I fear for his safety…unless, of course, he’s the “selected” reporter to pre-emptively leak the story so that Karl Rove can direct his PR machine to do damage control and counter with disinformation and obfuscation.

But, as always in these interesting times, it’s worse than you think.

There is a reason for the deliberate leak on 60 minutes where the former "anonymous" CIA "whistleblower" warns that Osama bin Laden, the Bush-Cheney Administration’s favorite bogey man, has received religious approval for a nuclear attack on America. Quite simply, it sets the groundwork of plausibility for the next terrorist attack.

I'm guessing about January 11th, before the inauguration. Bush-Cheney need an excuse to re-institute the draft (especially seeing as how a war with Iran is being pushed openly by the PNAC brain trust) and they soon will need to crack down HARD on civil liberties and free speech. More and more people are starting to find out about the anomalies of 9-11 and the fact that the irregularities during the 2004 "election" are more than just highly suspicious. If a recount is demanded in Ohio, that could mean they would be even more desperate to distract the American people from the truth. Plus the Iraq War, even with a tamed media, can't possibly be portrayed as anything but a disaster. Again, without a major distraction and an excuse to “rally” around a War President the cost of this war, both in dollars and lives, will become too much for the public to stomach.

Another ominous development is new CIA director Porter Goss leading an all out effort to "reform" the CIA so they can "purge" the organization of any management types with minds of their own.

CIA plans to purge its agency (http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/nation/ny-uscia1114,0,707331.story)

This is the clearest signal that the CIA’s direction will be headed by those who are completely in lock step with the Pentagon’s foreign and domestic Black Ops program. They are determined to rid the Agency of any embarrassing whistleblowers or those who would leak embarrassing information. Like the Nazi party under Hitler, “disloyalty” will not be tolerated.

Next, the fact that a whole whack of troops have come back to the US from foreign bases seems timed so these troops will be on hand in case of civil disturbance, unrest or protests after the next staged attack. Note the following story:

Fort Bragg Troops Train For Homeland Security Mission --
November 11, 2004
http://www.wral.com/news/3911970/detail.html

This week, Fort Bragg soldiers ran a rare training exercise in New York. The group of soldiers flew to New York to train for a fictional scenario in which terrorists plan to strike the West Point Military Academy, the place where future Army leaders train...

Most units around the country are scheduling more domestic "training ops" like this one. The soldiers at Fort Bragg have done three.
So, as you can see, it seems like the plan has been initiated. The pieces will soon be in place. The final raw grab for complete power and the installation of a de facto Dictatorship may only be weeks or months away.

Besides, the old color-coded “terror alert” system is openly mocked and the well timed “security alerts” they have been issuing have the tinge of the “boy who cried wolf” to them. They need something to restore their credibility.

Now would be a good time for a true American patriot in the mold of Smedley Butler to finally stand up and say, “Enough!”

http://www.rationalrevolution.net/major_general_smedley_butler_usm.htm

The fate of America may depend upon just such a man.
