Have you seen the film "Battle of Algiers"?
Saw it the other evening. Devastating. (Those who forget history are destined to repeat it.) NETFLIX has apparently stocked LOTS of copies of this movie, as it has recently become very popular.

"Although nearly forty years have passed since its creation, Battle of Algiers is more timely than ever – especially for Americans, given the American involvement in a contemporary colonial war in the Middle East." http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig3/beary4.html

2. I've seen it, only difference is it's only a matter of time before we get
nuked.

You can't shit on people forever and not expect retaliation.

Our ally Pakistan and their atomic wholesaler A.Q. Khan may have already slipped Al Qaeda the goods.

Thanks George and all you "red-staters"

4. No kidding. It's a 40 year old movie.
Although "the more things change, the more they stay the same" (my thinking watching the movie), but you are right.... weaponry has changed. And this time, the battle won't be fought only in their own streets, but here.

3. A theater near me ran it when the Iraq war began
it was devastating. I would like to purchase a copy-I'm going to see if Amazon has it.

5. I've got it in my queue. Re-signed-up this week.
Figure paying for Netflix is better than paying for Showtime Unlimited and then hoping that there might be something on that I want to watch that night.
