3. Allawi......
Just wondering, is he a good man who want's to help his country, or a corrupt leader controlled by Bush and hated by the Iraqi people?

5. Don't worry about him... Welcome.
It wouldn't tell you in the papers anyway.

Allawi came here and thanked Bush for helping build a successful Iraq. Then he went back and said it was Bush's fault Iraq was so messed up, like a month later.

Mind you, this doesn't mean he's not still a Bush stooge. The only way to gain support over there is to badmouth the US, and the press largely ignored his remarks over here. He didn't hurt Bush's reelection efforts, and he helped himself by lying. Sounds pretty much like an alliance to me.

By the way, he doesn't have the support of most Iraqis.

7. the second proposition
is the only of the two that has any reliable evidence backing it up.

He was installed by a US controlled "interim council" do you think they would have installed someone not sympathetic to the US.

He has long ties to MI6 and the CIA.

He was responsible for terrorist attacks in Iraq that killed civilians (either it is or it isn't OK to kill civilians for political gain)

6. There's a formula to figure it out

Multiply the number of eligible voters by 1.2 and you have the total votes for Allawi. Worked in the US for **ush.

Edit: spelling

8. 105%++
Congratulations Allawi.:party:

Clearly Allawi has the support of everyone in Iraq. After the (s)election he can walk the streets and not have to fear an RPG flying up his ass.
