Canadian Alternative
Edited on Sun Nov-21-04 11:30 PM by never cry wolf
A friend of mine just sent me an email saying he is pondering a move to Canada, he included the following link: http://www.canadianalternative.com/

Welcome to CanadianAlternative.com. We invite you to get to know Canada. Explore the richness and diversity of our regions. And find out why Canada is the perfect alternative for conscientious, forward-thinking Americans.

If you like what you see, we welcome you to join us. We’ve provided some useful information on this site to help you with immigrating to Canada, working in Canada, doing business in Canada and finding a home in Canada.

Ranked by the United Nations as the best country in the world to live for eight consecutive years, Canada deserves serious consideration as a place to settle down, raise a family, pursue a career or start a business.

Not encouraging, nor discouraging anyone. It's interesting for the marketing angle, however.

3. Costa Rica
Seriously. Check out some of the real estate listings on this site: http://www.intertica.com/ . There are some amazing properties available in the Central Valley area, as well as the coasts.

8. Thanks. I will. That's right down the street from me too, more or less.
I was looking at Mexico and found cheap properties. I guess the worry about unstable governments is long gone now that we have our own.

I'm in Toronto, and I salivate at what we could buy elsewhere with the money our little ramshackled squat is worth.
