If Bush Thinks Crawling Back To UN is Embarrassing ... |
|
imagine his chagrin when he realizes that France, Germany and Russia hold the cards right now. Remember as Plaid Adder pointed out, the UN santioned Iraq for 12 years and Iraqis are not likely to forget that, although the UN gained back some credibility by opposing the invasion.
Enter France, Germany and Russia. Great credibility for standing firm against all the garbage thrown at them by Americans. I was so embarrassed by it and I knew it would come back to haunt us. Classic American spoiled brat temper tantrum.
It appears now that France, Germany and Russia will get some of those Halliburton contracts. In fact, they are in great bargaining position right now. I can almost taste the glee that Chirac (sorry about spelling)is experiencing right now.
Bush's supporters don't care at all whether he looks stupid. But they do care about him making them look stupid. I imagine there are alot of tight lips in offices everywhere now. Its their turn to be stressed out now. They're even slower than Bush. Wait until they realize that France and Germany hold the cards now.
Ahhhh! Sweet sweet justice. Like nectar from the gods.

2. I don't think they will. |

I think the bombing of the UN building there took care of that. Nope. I think France, Germany and Russia are the only nations with the credibility to get other nations to help them clean up Iraq. If I were them, I would insist that the US give up all control. Even managing the oil and everything else.
After all, we've achieved our stated goal: removing Saddam and making sure to destroy the weapons of mass destruction.
