Drinking OJ - Rebuild Florida and Prevent Flu
Talk about capitalizing on castrophies. I Googled to find out just how is the sale of OJ is rebuilding Florida. Every story on is basically the same press release.

Citrus growers: Drink up a storm

At least one group has found a positive side to this season's hurricane damage. Want to help Florida? Get some orange juice, citrus ads say.

BY MIKE SCHNEIDER

Associated Press

LAKELAND - Drinking orange juice will help Florida rebuild from the damage wrought by recent hurricanes, according to a TV ad approved Wednesday by the Florida Citrus Commission.

The 15-second national spot lists the names and dates of the three hurricanes that struck Florida's citrus-producing areas in August and September: Charley, Frances and Jeanne.

It then shows still images of orange juice being poured into a glass, as an announcer says, ``Every glass you drink is helping rebuild Florida. We thank you.''

The goal is to leverage the national attention on the devastation on the state's citrus industry.

snip

The first ad shows a narrator looking into the camera and saying, ``If you're concerned about catching the flu, move to a deserted island and avoid people for six months.''

The scene than switches to a man on an island next to a monkey who sneezes repeatedly.

Or, the narrator adds, ``You can drink Florida orange juice.''

8. ROFL, my wife won't let me eat beef any way!
How we have always contributed to Florida's economy was tourism. We generally vacation there.

NO MORE!!!
