Wanted: Provocative Button for Thanksgiving
Hey, guys... I want/need a provocative button to wear home during Thanksgiving... Something to provoke all the Bush supporters in my family. Basically, I want to wear something that DARES them to say anything, that challenges them to think, something that says clearly gets across the message that Nov. 2 changed nothing, really... Any suggestions?

7. I think it is a very good idea. n/t
Family harmony, be damned! (I live three safe hours away anyway... ;) Besides... I'm tired of sitting there listening to their bull. At least maybe with a button I can encourage them not to talk about it around me if they don't want their heads chewed off.

14. Yeah, I think it depends...
If they are pretty polite in the first place (like my Dad's side of the family) and just don't talk about it at all, you shouldn't wear a provocative button. But if they're like my mom's side, and they want to liberal-bash throughout the entire dinner, then a button is a good way to go. But I'd say keep it something that shows LOVE, not anger or hatred. (See my post down below.) Good luck, let us know how it goes. :)

5. Thats the best bet...
I personally try not to provoke my relatives, though. That's because every last one of them (except my brother and my dad, but my dad won't be there) are Bush supporters. And some are completely brainwashed dittoheads.

Its maddening to try to discuss anything with them.

12. Blessed are the Peacemakers
Or something like that. Something that's not argumentative, shows love, and also shows you're not into Bush, which they most likely know anyway.

18. whatever you do
always refer to Bush as the unelected President, kind of how we refer to Allawi as the unelected Prime Minister of Iraq.

for a pin to provoke people, I'd go with "Hey Hitler was elected too."
