They recognize the magic elixir like power of sexuality (especially women's sexuality unfettered) to loosen the patriarchy. There is that group of repressed left wing feminists who are anti-pornography and in reality share a great deal with the fundies. But anthropological studies have shown, extremely ironically, that wherever there is more pornography and tolerance for greater women's sexual freedom women always have higher political status, and where pornography is forbidden and women's sexual powers are reigned in women are usually seen as property, women's status is always lower.

Even if conservatives don't recognize this truth consciously, they do understand it unconsciously. Their main goal is to bring down women. Period. Women's sexuality is power. Don't believe me? Compare Sweden with Iran.
