My memory is that he was actually called in to advise her on the Biblical implications of their security policies sometime before Iraq.

Not that I believe they are sincere or even, religious, but they are not above using duped End Timers into supporting their assinine aggressiveness based on the twisting of so-called prophecies to fit their fascist agenda.

and all I can find is Van Impe made claims that he talked with them.


Since these types (those making money off of religion) lie all the time I see no reason to believe him.

If he lied then Ithe White House would make a big deal about distancing themselves from his story.

2. Actually, I can understand that

If you want the perspective of the people in the region and locally you need to take into consideration the views (religious in this case) of those people. Now Jack is not a policy maker there by any stretch, but he does know and understand a lot of how certain groups interpret such things (partially because he has aided them in seeing things in such a way). I would not be surprised if she consulted similar folks from a jewish and islamic bent (both with their own views on things). It IS relevant - I recall what a wise tibetan buddhist monk once said about the lake people in the tibetan area, and their worship of the lake gods by flying flags near the lake (Paraphrasing) "When dealing with the people of the lake you must take into account their beliefs, whether or not their spirits exist does not matter, THEY believe they do and such belief affects how they think and behave - so in that sense, they do exist because they exert an influence"

6. Crusade language?

I remember they hired someone after the military used "crusade" in one of its titles for military actions, and it created a huge problem because of the historical memories of the "Crusades" which really created a problem with the folks in the area and they wanted to do some PR to be more convincing to the Arab world.

I agree the religious sensitivity issues is very relevant, but the current problems in Iraq have gone way beyond this.
