Wow! It is so easy to commit election fraud! |
|
This really gives me "hope" that I can become a con artist! I never realized how many people are willing to look the other way when it comes to fraud. Now that this election has shown me the true nature of people, I think I'll look into becoming a con artist.
Seriously, it's shameful to see even die-hard Democrats act like such idiots about this and claim that this shit-stain in the White House won this election. Bullshit. It was criminal. He is a criminal. A firing squad would be too good for the pus-filled snake.
And yet, in spite of all the evidence everyone goes about so mindlessly, like fucking Stepford wives. Even the people disappointed by the election glaze over. "Oh gee 49% of us didn't support him."
BULL MOTHER FUCKING SHIT YOU MORON!!!!!!! OVER 50 PERCENT OF US DIDN'T SUPPORT HIM. THIS WAS STOLEN!
I'm sorry, am I interrupting the elevator music in everyone's heads?

I don't mind if people don't take my topic seriously, I'm just venting. Sometimes I want to scream and if I do it at home, my husband looks at me funny. They're just now beginning to think I am sane again, I don't want to ruin that...
I'm glad you like my new name. I'm feeling a little nuts down here in North Carolina/South Carolina (south of Charlotte in other words) and I just needed to vent. :)

Thinking about this from an analytical point of view it's a cult mentality.
Rather than admit to the wrongdoing and that they've been duped people would rather say it's just that they didn't win or some such nonsense rather than make a stand.
It's the same reason why so many people blindly supported Bush because of the argument being made that they haven't had a terrorist attack since then even though Terrorist attacks on America (While technically deserved by world opinion for things that generally are attributable to republican politicians and black book ops) they would rather support him rather than think for themselves that perhaps there was more to this than meets the eye.
It's easier to go along with the group than question.
It's a psychological precept that will not change until things get so bad for the average person that they can no longer ignore the wrong.

But how did we get to be so "weird" and "against the grain" that we aren't sucked into the cult mentality?
Why do we not fit into the mold?
Hell at this point it would be easier just to be so goddamned stupid and easily duped.

Well, why is a hard one to answer...
For many democrats it's merely voting party lines every four years or voting the way their union tells them to.
Others it's a matter of security, they were told they'll be kept safe and don't seem to notice that we are now are an exponentially higher level of peril.
Others still just can't get past the sharp small 'witty' statements. Like the claim that terrorists would attack if John Kerry took over the country. Trust is that it doesn't matter who's in charge unless we have a complete upheaval in our foreign policy.
Some people are willing to think at least to some level, other people can't, it's the same as with a cult, often times there are people who leave, but the constant fear and dogma tends to keep most loyal regardless of the truth.
The republicans scored a huge victory when they turned the word Liberal into a dirty word. The only likely way to battle it is to prove to the nation that Conservative really means hate mongering, fear wielding federalist synonymous with taking people's rights under the guise of morality while acting antithetically.

I feel your pain.
I guess I just have dealt with enough Repubs around here to believe that this crappy election is probably just what they deserve....I figure it will bite them all in the ass eventually.
I'm trying to figure out how to keep from getting bitten along with them!
