Rewriting today's quotes in a different context....Humour !
The administration must
"...earn the trust of those of us who are worried about them developing an electoral detonation"

Earlier Monday, the Bush administration announced it had suspended active resistance to election recounts. The head of the U.N. election watchdog agency said he believed they had stopped their activities — the central part of an agreement with Europe designed to head off possible U.N. sanctions.

"Let's say I hope it's true".

"I think the definition of truth is the willingness of the regime to allow for voter verification."

Ahh if it were only true.
Of course, if you hadn't figured this out already, these are (ahem, slightly modified) quotes from the guy on the billboard that Clear Channel calls 'Our Leader', talking about Iran and nuclear enrichment.

And, just in case you still don't get it, this is intended purely as humour - hence no link to post.

Having said all that, it IS an interesting double standard, no?
