On November 2nd the conservative American faithful raised George W. Bush from what seemed like for many progressives, "the dead". The liberal hating, war-loving, narrow minded, ignorant Christian evangelicals turned back time and said to the world, "Look out heretics and fags here comes God and you are going to burn.". Well maybe they didn't say those exact words but certainly that is the overall feeling the "majority" of America is exuding.
The ball of fear and compliance is rolling now and it will tumble down the hill faster and faster. Conservative lawmakers in Washington are like punks robbing a candy store. They are rushing back and forth, dusting off the old American way of life and are ready to lay down the law. So get ready America, here comes reality.
Lets take stock in what the GOP, media and neocons have planned:
A Draft
How many reports on the news do you think it will take before Congress flip-flops and reinstates a draft? I say not too many more. Already national guard and ready reserve units are being mobilized to be sent to Iraq. The military is asking for 50,000 more bodies. Falluja and Bahgdad are still wrapped in violence and the number of killed and wounded soldiers shows no signs of slowing. More reports are presented in the news about middle aged reservists being sent into combat and being killed. Mothers of young children are being separated from thier loved ones to go to Iraq. Fewer and fewer young people are choosing the military as a viable option for getting through college. It is not worth risk anymore.
Make no mistake. The day will come and we will have a draft, men and women, old and young for combat and support. We will all equally share the burden.
Mandatory Mental Health Screening
Like the movie THX1138 the population will soon be medicated, more that we already are. Take the drugs and live in, as Drew Carey called life on Prozac, "a low level of dispair". Why? Because it wil be good for national security to reduce the risk of people from going postal. Combine this with uneditable heathcare information that follows you from HMO to HMO you will soon have millions of Americans forced to take psycotropic medications to maintain healthcare coverage. We will have instant mass-preexisting conditions.

"Idiot TV Nation"
"W" clad pickups and SUVs tower over your hybrid electric car and point out the fact that you are a twig eating hippie and not welcome on the road. It is after all an American right to waste and consume. IF you don't watch Fear Factor, Wife Swap or other reality television show then you are not welcome to sit at the table.
It is so abnormal to have above average intelligence. That is very unfortunate because over the past thirty years great steps have been taken to lower the average intelligence of Americans. 44% or Americans can't read and comprehend this essay. But they can watch TV...of yes they can. To the tune fo 60 hours per week according to recent studies. Nobody seems to be able to point out that the more TV Americans watch and fewer books we read the dumber we get.
So as you let your kid watch Baby Einstien thinking that it will make them smart, forget it. It is really just going to make them dumber than you. It shows how dumb and lazy you really are. Baby Einstien and the Wiggles are going to make your child get straight "As". Nope it is just going to make them slaves to the glass teat for the rest of their lives because that little soft squishy baby mind will fall in love with TV. replacing the love you didn't give. You are too busy taking prozac and shopping to really care anyway.
But TV is so imortant. It drives what we buy, when and what we eat, what we wear, how we talk, when we sleep, who we vote for, what we believe....OMIGOD! It controls our very existence! Thanks to 4 more years we will get 40 more years of rapidly declining usefulness of television for the american people. The FCC will make sure to that. No primetime boobs unless they are in commercials and on super models. What TV has become will and always be is a way to control public opinion for the right wing. So get use to that...oh wait...you already are...check that off Brain's list of steps to take over the world.

Bush is playing to his base. The "Have mores...". The past 4 years he has stripped bare the EPA and opened the national parks to mining all while starting a war that is really only good for Dad and Dick. Lets not forget about Senate Majority leader, Bill Frist, the doctor who got really rich by starting an HMO and pandering to drug companies. No he is a gem, perfect GOP hair an all. This guy is so transparent you could sell him in a fish store.
The gap between the grossly rich and the rest is getting wider each day. Fewer and fewer people are making 90% of the money. CEO pay has gone up 400% in less than a decade, while everyone else is taking a pay cut. But you can't complain can you have a job, a big house in the burbs, a SUV, a mini-van, a big screen TV, four credit cards carrying $20,000 balance, a $450,000 mortgage all on $125,000 household income and 25k in your 401k. YOu are living the American dream BABY! You are so far in debt that you can't even think about thinking. Just go to work believe in Jesus and everything will be alright! PRAISE GOD! Meanwhile, there are four people in your city that make 4 million dollars a month. They make so much money per day they can't possibly spend it. So they invest in taking over other countries by supprorting people like George W. Bush. A person who promotes peace and freedom around the world. The funny thing is that it sure looks and smells like invasion and war.
What do you care anyway. You've got football to watch and now that Bush is won we won't have to hear any more talk about war, homosexuals, the economy or heathcare on the commercials. The political commercials are gone and the super model push-up bra ads are back.
