I got to smack my puke brother in law
Actually, he was being quite nice to me. He's been worried about my health (understandably) and offered to drive me to the doc or help out where ever I need him. Then he told me that Northwest is cutting pilots. He's not losing his job, but his pay is going to be cut by 1/3. I told him to suck it up because he voted for it. Actions have consequences. All he could say was, "Yeah, I did vote for it."

I've turned ruthless. I don't like myself much these days.

1. um
I like you.
Listen, Ginbarn, neither he nor any other puke would feel bad about doing the same to you. Consider it Tough Love and part of their education. They have to learn somehow before all of us are screwed by their actions. Stop feeling bad; you did the right thing.

Well, I'm not putting up with one word of complaint from anyone who voted for Monkeyboy. I'm not used to being so harsh, but I'll get used to it.

31. Thinking of re-starting my moribund blog
Working title will be "Oh, you didn't know?" I want to collect the usual litany of outrages from the Bush administration, along with protestations from his benighted supporters that they're very s-m-r-t and they know exactly why they voted for him. Follow that up with updates of things that were pretty apparent to anyone paying the least bit of attention, and that always seem to confound the "morans."

Along with my usual witty, insightful and impeccable commentary.

39. I've said it a few times already
And I'm sure I'll be saying it a lot more in the next few years.

When I'm ornery, I follow "you voted for it" with something likey "maybe, if we're lucky, in four years you'll have a chance to vote again so you can rectify the situation."

Gloves are off now :grr: We have for the past two years given her 50 dollars a month to help her meet her bills. I told my hubbie that the 50 a month still stands but if he gives her ONE penny more a month? Well let's just say it's too horrible to talk about :nuke:

She voted for it twice, she can just damn well live with her choices and she can ask her 2 other repuke sons for more money if she needs it. I don't feel the slightest bit bad for allowing her own reality to bite her in the ass.

Total repuke. He doesn't even care if his grandchildren get drafted.
If I hear one single word of complaint from him, I'm going to lower the boom. My mom always votes the way Dad tells her to. He thought I'd be the same way and we've been at political war ever since.

Oil prices are hurting, true, but even before the oil spike the airlines have been hit pretty hard. Travel's down, a weak dollar means less tourism, and the unions all negotiated very nice packages right before the bust--plus low-budget carriers are getting harder and harder to compete with.

46. Travel's down
because people are either afraid to fly or they can't afford it. The weak dollar is because of our crushing deficit. It's monkeyboy all around. Tom did say that the pilots got a much better deal than the stewards and stewardesses. He said they got royally screwed.

I understand that the airlines were already in trouble, but I won't tolerate complaints from a monkeyboy voter.
