One Idea I have why BUsh is doing this is...

Bush wants the people(us) to not think too much about EVIROMENTAL causes for our illnesses/allergies/suffering. Issues like our "body load" of pollution,light pollution,chemical pollution,noise pollution, or the pollution of the human mind itself through ads,TV,and other forms of manipulation/management of the human peception/mind, by business or religious leaders.. ect. must be considered'fringe'or'hippy'or those evil liberal ideas.

Remember Bush exempted the military from adhering to any pollution laws,and they are some of the worst offenders.Bush relaxed laws so our water and air has more lead,arsenic,chemicals, drugs in it than ever before and yes it can effect us,just as surely as it does the fish and frogs....and nobody with Bush distracting everyone,has to clean it up,cleaning up our toxic land would cost alot of money. So, anything he can do to distract the public from demanding accountability from polluting/drug/chemical corporations and making them pay for the damage they have done to OUR planet,(hence the hubbub over trial lawyers)what better way than to blame it on the individual and thier illness in thier own head, drug the symptoms away so everything looks normal,that way corporations are NEVER held accountable to anyone.

Investigative author Martin Walker in his most recent book SKEWED, discusses how the recognition of biological causes of a whole variety of environmentally induced illnesses has been blocked by a small interest group of "experts" linked to the polluters - the multinational agro-petro-chemical industries. Those suffering from the debilitating effects of environmental illnesses are told that they are just imagining their symptoms and all they need is psychiatric help, perhaps some forced exercise, called "graded exercise therapy", re-education of "how to deal with" their illness, psychological counselling or maybe just antidepressants - for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Bush's Texas Medication Algorithm Project has recently run into a problem in Pennsylvania, one of several states it was exported to. Allen Jones, an investigator for the Pennsylvania Office of the Inspector General, found heavy pharmaceutical corruption of State officials and medical experts involved in the original elaboration and the "selling" to Pennsylvania of the TMAP giudelines.

Study Launch Date Suspended Until Early 2005

11/18/2004: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), led by Bush appointees, is seeking input on a new proposed study in which infants in participating low income families will be monitored for health impacts as they undergo exposure to known toxic chemicals over the course of two years. The study entitled Children's Environmental Exposure Research Study (CHEERS) will look at how chemicals can be ingested, inhaled or absorbed by children ranging from babies to 3 years old.

For taking part in these studies, each family will receive $970, a free video camera, a T-shirt, and a framed certificate of appreciation.

In October, the EPA received $2.1 million to do the study from the American Chemistry Council, a chemical industry front group that includes members such as Dow, Exxon, and Monsanto (see full list of members on sidebar of this page). Critics of the research, including some EPA scientists, claim the study's funders guarantee the results will be biased in favor of the chemical industry, at the expense of the health of the impoverished children serving as test subjects.


Consider this..
Bush is against ANY form of nationalized healthcare,(which may lead back to Neurotoxins allergies chemical sensitivities ect.He wants every American screed and drugged by big Chemical/Pharma for mental illness,so they NEVER find the cause are the very companies feeding them meds to supress poisoning symptoms!
Insurance companies hate paying for psychiatric care when it's REAL health care....all of a sudden it's Free? Why? Salllly Satel calls alternative therapies hippy dippy maybe because some forms of alternatuive therapies(touch) heals trauma that is stored in body memories, and looking at traumas makes people look to sources outside of themselves as well as inside themselves for sources of thier distress? This could be bad news for the chemical companies when they can''t point at any other cause other than thier own wrongdoing.
(hence the hatred of trial lawyers).
That alone should make red flags go up.

Oh and there are HALDOL implants. Haldol in the right dose gives you the effect of a chemical lobotomy.Anyone,(including me) who has been on too high a dose can tell you how it shuts you down,
