Why don't people learn from History?

Whenever leaders have done what Bush*&Co are doing, they are headed for personal disaster. They are not referenced kindly by decent people, but are remembered with absolute scorn and shame.

Do they think Napoleon, Hitler, Nixon, or Saddam ( who appears to be Bush's role model- how jealous * must have been all these years- since it's so much easier being a Dictator- DAMN that Constitution!)
failed because they didn't have karl Rove? What?

You recomend people read history... the answer it is in hsitory... they live in a bubble and this bubble is impossible to penetrate and in this bubble tehy are loved and people think they are great...

Contrary to your examples, in American history, the rich have rarely paid for the ills of society. Even during the depression, the wealthy and "entitled" led lives very similar to what they were used to.

An economic crash will hurt the lower and middle classes. Don't expect it to hurt the upper class - they're quite well protected.
