2. May their souls find rest
These were the faces I saw when I marched against the war in 2003. These were the faces of those I knew who would suffer and die for a heinous and unjust cause. I wept then, and I still weep now.

How many more will join them before this madness ends?

4. Marine's letter home about Fallujah fighting
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/112604dntextxsoldiers.9d137.html

He went hunting in northeast Texas last week to get his mind off the war, and when he got home, a letter from Cpl. Qualls was waiting.

The young Marine wrote about the Fallujah offensive, that it was expected to include some of the fiercest battles of the war, and that his unit was in the thick of it.

"I think I'm truly scared because not just knowing I'm going to be in a fight, but I fear it's a fight for my life," he wrote.

About an hour after Mr. Qualls read those anguished words, there was a knock on the door, he said.
