Do you think it's fitting that we may become what we've turned other countries into? I'd like to think it'd give people an awareness about the conditions of other places but I've kinda given up on people's reasoning skills.

I think that's an important observation.

Take a look at Bob Dylan's film "Masked and Anonymous." The America it portrays is precisely that.
