Democrats will never win another election unless...
they deal with the media and they deal with the voting machines.

At least Howard Dean takes both seriously, his Democracy for America is actually gaining some notoriety. Obviously the repubs feel threatened enough by it to hack the site, with Hitler, no less! God, I hate that repubs ALWAYS accuse democrats of the crimes that they are committing.

I personally think that Dean and his grassroots organization is the only hope for the democratic party, since it doesn't seem that Kerry is going to do a damn thing, I am going back to working for Dean.

That is all.

1. I hope you're wrong about Kerry; but I fear you are
not. Where is Gentleman Johnny "Reporting for Duty" Kerry? Time is running out.

18. but op. scans were obviously rigged this year too. we need a new slogan
I don't think the VVPB will be the solution anymore, with most of OH on op. scans and the 29 dem counties in FL that voted on 'em going repuke, they are just as rigged as DREs.

Yeah, their gall is amazing. I was just thinking about this today. If you want to know what mischief Rove and the boys are carrying out, just listen to what they accuse the Democrats of doing, and you'll have at least a partial answer.

I want Dean, or maybe John Edwards, to head the DNC.

6. Funny how they seem to recognize a "crime"
before it is committed. I do believe every criminal yearns to confess. You just have to know where and when to listen. * will confess just like Nixon. We just have to know where to listen.

7. IT'S TOO LATE -
it's lost-
There will be no more fair elections--EVER-
The E votiing is probably as permanent as the tax cuts and there will likely be no investigations and no paper trails established..
Personally I believe the lunatic in now in office pretending to be "pResident" has no intention of EVER leaving--
Permanent pResident--military law-no elections-pariot act to round up all opposition-

one--only one "terra" event happens and military law will be declared under the guise of "temporary security". RED ALERT-
no elections ---ever again in this country--

and people will look back and say no one saw it coming--

9. as long as the only opposition is the "Democratic Party", you're right
That's why we need a new party, one that knows how to fucking FIGHT. and WIN.

8. I'm done with the Democratic Party. I'll follow Dean to a new party
or I'll go join another party that has its priorities straight, that lives in the real fucking world, and that knows how to fight and knows how to be a true "opposition" party.

The democratic party is an utter disgrace. Beating Bush should have been beyond a slam dunk. Nobody should have voted for Bush except his MOM.

The voting machine issues should have been dealt with four and a half years ago.

I am embarrassed to have ever been associated with the democratic party. They are LOSERS.

11. Agree -->
but that party might be underground literally when opposition parties become "outlawed".
But it can happen-they can't suppress our entire population --the majority of the people are going to wake up but it may take a fascist regime to bring them out of denial.

12. Tell all your republican friends about the New Freedom Commission
that will be a good start. Repubs hate the government meddling in their business, that's why the media is trying to keep it under wraps for them.

13. If we can solve this
Big Media's Democracy Double Standards

By Robert Parry
November 23, 2004

The Washington Post and other leading American newspapers are up in arms about the legitimacy of a presidential election where exit polls showed the challenger winning but where the incumbent party came out on top, amid complaints about heavy-handed election-day tactics and possibly rigged vote tallies.

In a lead editorial, the Post cited the divergent exit polls, along with voter claims about ballot irregularities, as prime reasons for overturning the official results. For its part, the New York Times cited reports of “suspiciously, even fantastically, high turnouts in regions that supported” the government candidate. The U.S. news media is making clear that the truth about these electoral anomalies must be told.

Of course, the election in question occurred in the Ukraine.

In the United States – where exit polls showed John Kerry winning on Nov. 2, where Republican tactics discouraged African-American voting in Democratic precincts, and where George W. Bush’s vote totals in many counties were eyebrow-raising – the Post, the Times and other top news outlets mocked anyone who questioned the results.

Agree that repubs accuse Dem's of their misdeeds i.e. post people at the poles to question our right to vote while every voting error THAT HAS BEEN CAUGHT has mysteriously gone in favor of bush. the first rule of illusion is to distract with one hand while the other, undetected, alters your perceived reality. However, we need a warrior to lead us through these tough times. Kerry's plan to win the peace seemed to be brilliant. Make no mistake the enemy's of the U.S. are real. But if we develop alternate sources of energy , the powers that be in the mid-east will be forced to become honest brokers of peace themselves. To make grand anti-war statements without the grand fore-thought of what is necessary to achieve it is reckless. Freedom IS NOT free. Consider that the path to peace means our nonrelience on foreign petro. This, it seems to me, means that cars need an alternet source of fuel, all homes should be fitted with solar panels, wind should be used whenever possible, and we should always be exploring new science for more advanced, clean and healthy sources of energy. I'm not an energy nut, I am, however, someone who is soooo grateful for all of the freedoms that we enjoy, and I believe that we can never get the monkeys off our back if we do not proclaim our own self sefficiency.
