I think it's time to start labeling the right the way they have labeled us. I think any and all members of the left need to get on board and use these same tactics.

2. Bait and Switch tactics=Bush Administration

Bush's 'tax cuts' have cut vital funding programs

No tax break for the middle class

Threats to childless marriages via the influence of the Religious Right

Pell grants cut-No Child Left Behind not funded-Bush attacks education for the masses

Guard troops sent overseas undertrained and unprotected (this is a biggie in my area, where they had to have a fundraiser to get the local Guard unit body armor)

Health care costs/drug costs have skyrocketed because of the deals made between drug companies/insurance companies and the Bush Admin. (When I make this point, the comeback is 'all politicians do this'. I tell them it doesn't have to be that way, and that the Dems will offer a choice-I hope I am right on this and that they do)

No true fiscal "conservative" could support the staggering Bush deficits.

4. Cheap-Labor Conservatives

I try to inject that phrase into conversations whenever possible. This website makes a good case for laying responsibility for all manner of social ills at the feet of cheap-labor conservatives.
