Question on age discrimination |
|
My community center is offering a class I would be interested in participating in, but it is for seniors over 55. I am close to that age, but not there yet. Can they discriminate against me?

1. maybe on the pricing and if there's not room... |
|
could be that if the class doesn't fill up, they'd let you in... it's worth a call.
you might not get the "senior discount" either...

3. Will you reach 55 during the class |
|
that might get you in.
In any case, it's probably best to ask them.

4. Okay, I will ask first, but I may be back! |
|
You will find it silly, but it is for line dancing. Since I am disabled, but used to love to dance, I thought I could handle it. So, I am not looking for a discount, but rather something low impact. Yeehaa

5. If you meet ADA criteria, there may be special considerations available |
