What would you all think of an "I told you so" type of website? |
|
Much has been made the last four weeks with regard to the famous websites with creative pictures of people telling the world they are sorry about the election of George W. Bush as president, as well as the websites with pictures of people telling the world that they are not sorry.
So I have a little more controversial idea: How about a website with something along the lines of "wetoldyouso", "yougetwhatyoudeserve", "youvotedforthis", or "chickenscomehometoroost" dot com? In it, there could be pictures of Kerry supporters with creative messages to our friends in the Red Nation. Every time something BAD happens in this country more pictures would get posted. Such events could include, but not be limited to, more casualties in Iraq, reinstatement of the draft, another recession or budget cuts to popular programs.
And as much as I hate to say it, even if this country is hit with another terrorist attack, that 51% of Americans will need to hear the words "We told you so". Although, the most likely target of a terrorist attack would probably be a solidly Blue part of the country.

Bush can BS 51% of Americans, but currency traders are much more intelligent than that.

It would be a fitting response in light of the arrogance of the Republican attitude.

If only for our benefit, because Bush supporters are so utterly clueless they probably wouldn't get it.

along with it and just sit on it, so the brainless copycats can't counter--shut them out of the game altogether, seeing that they can never come up with anything original on their own without seeing one of the liberals' brilliant works come to life.

12. Oh, I like this name. It says it all. |

The only thing is this: in the original post, the poster proposed a message to a "red nation" (????????). I think the message should be to Bush voters - is that what he means?

I've been to the "we're not sorry" site and am convinced they'll all be puzzled, dazed, and confused when the price of chewin tabaccy costs $27.00 dollars. Their visit to your website would be priceless!!!

15. Forgive me, but I know nothing about being a webmaster |
|
Maybe I shouldn't have piped up with an idea without any committment or ability to carry it out in practice.
I'm always good with ideas, but usually only a small percentage of them are ever put into action. Webmastery has never been a specialty of mine.

16. Do you think the Bush-lovers would give a damn? |

Those people are so far gone, if Bush raped a baby on live TV, his supporters would spin it in his favor.

I was wondering about this because it's pretty obvious they will have no one to blame but themselves, but they will try to pin it on us somehow. A "we toldja so" site would be great.

In another thread, I said I had moved past the anger into apathy, but seems I still have enough anger to enjoy such a site. Another suggestion: howdoyoulikebushNOW.com. Or youmadethisbednowlieinit.com.

Please remember that when registering your own dot com that people will be able to check for the name and address of the owner. Might be better to go through a web hosting site.
Another thing to consider is stealing bandwidth. Sometimes you can turn off the remote loading, that way freepers won't be able to post the pictures on their forums.
Other than those two caveats, great idea! Good luck!!
