I suggest starting a consumer activism group.
I looked through the Groups section and didn't see anything along these lines.

The reason I'm suggesting this is because I believe that this level of protest is probably going to be the most effective mechanism we now have to affect change in our brand spanking new fascist environment. The Rethugs may steal our elections, but they cannot control my spending habits and choices. If we all refuse to support rightwing and/or sweatshop corporations they LOSE, whether they rig the voting machines or not. THEY CAN'T MAKE ME WATCH THEIR CORPORATE FASCIST TELEVISION OR BUY THEIR FASCIST PRODUCTS.

The purpose of this group would be to share information about which companies to support and which to boycott. Having an active group would allow us to update it with new information and share stories about how stocks are doing in these companies. We could then evaluate our effectiveness and threaten corps with further boycots if they don't change their evil ways.

So, how's about it? Do you folks think this is a good idea?

1. boycott
Some groups have discussed this earlier but there's been no one list compiled yet. Some of the heavy Repug corporations are, of course, Diebold, Wal-MArt, Goodyear, Smuckers, etc. These are only some of the ones I know in Ohio. Thanks for keeping this going....

2. We would need to get the group going.
Then it would be a resource for people which they could easily access.

it's in the charter:
* Products and services to boycott along with progressive alternatives, an ongoing effort to create a liberal yellow pages (The Progressive Pages) and a product search engine through web sites provided by DU members.
